we had a quick warm-up (if you think 50 degrees F is warm) here in upstate ny which has got me thinking about spring! i know i still got like 2 solid months of wintry weather but i always think waaaay ahead especially when it comes to what I'm wearing. i am a relaxed dresser so naturally my looks are well, relaxed! i don't shave my legs until the weather is in the 70s and above everyday so in spring i'm still wearing jeans and pairing my outfits with sweaters or light jackets.

So my soccer days are over but my soccer mom days are not! my fitness resolution for this year was to get back into yoga, meditation, and pilates and i don't see anything wrong with donning my usual soccer gear for that!

my more realistic winter must haves. i would love to have a fancy wool peacoat for winter but with the frozen tundra-like conditions and -40 F temperatures i need to be real! YES i know its like 90-100 degrees outside now but when you live up here 20 miles from canada you need to be prepared, mentally and closet-ly mmmk!

pumped for fall

Maison Scotch fall 2012 lookbook has seriously got me ready for fall, well not ready because i still have so many staples to buy, but pumped up for sure! i especially like the southwestern influence and the camo pieces, definitely some inspiration for fall! the whole collection is really good i just wish i could replace my current wardrobe with all of the pieces from it! hope ya'll enjoy it as much as i do!
