this lovely vintage floral dress was a gift from my sewing sensei (if you will), she gave it to me and told me to hem it up as high as i wanted. i cherish this dress because it was one she used to wear a lot! i feel like such a lady when i wear it too!!!

mom jeans

i'm so excited about my tower of mom jeans or what i call mom jeans because my mom used to rock these looks when i was very young! she still rocks these jeans only hers are truly vintage because she's had hers since the 80s! why am i so excited about these? well because i'm a mom and i have a little mom pooch when my son used to live and these jeans are perfect for hiding that pooch and not to mention super comfy! i love all 3 of these looks and will be rockin' all 3!

caboodles

does anyone remember their caboodle? i had one that looks similar to this one but it was purple glitter awesomeness! these were huge when i was in elementary school every girl had one. i never wore makeup back then so mine held school supplies and my special little treasures i had to have with me. i treasured my caboodle and remember begging my mom to get me one because all the cool girls had one. i took mine everywhere until one day while i was in gym class it was stolen from my locker which we weren't allowed to have locks on! i was devastated and my mom never got me another one. i have recently been looking for a good hard-case for my makeup but have yet to find a good one. how awesome would it be if i could find a purple glitter caboodle like the one i had!
